Christmas is a joyous celebration of the birth of JESUS
in fulfilment of numerous Messianic prophecies
throughout the Old Testament (Genesis 3:15; 1 Samuel
2:10; 2 Samuel 7:16; Psalm 2:2; Isaiah 7:1-16; 9:1-7; 11:1-16;
Daniel 9:24-27).

 

Matthew described the miraculous birth
of the Messiah:

 

²² Now all this took place to fulfill what was
spoken by the Lord through the prophet: ²³ “Behold, the
virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall
call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God
with us.” (Matthew 1:22-23)
